Is Bling Your Thing?

 

A lot of people ask me what colours do the Earthing Thongs (Grounders) come in as many of the ladies are not particularly keen on GREEN!  And they come in any colour as long as it is green.  I am very grateful that we have  the Earthing thongs as they are designed to do a job and that is to protect your feet while allowing you to be grounded as if walking barefoot and uptaking free electrons from the Earth.  However, some of us girls do like a bit of bling or matching colours to our outfits so why not get creative and add some bling to your thongs this summer – you can then wear them everywhere and they will look beautiful.  As soon as I blinged my thongs I had a person wanting to know where I got them from and could they buy a pair – so use your imagination and get creative.

 

Some tips before you bling:-

  • Make sure you use a very good glue that adheres to rubber – craft glue will not work
  • Be generous with the glue – and use a clear glue
  • Toothpicks and tweezers come in handy for placing your beads where you want them without glue all over your fingers
  • Spotlight and Scrapbook stores have millions of beads, ribbons, braids, buttons that you could use
  • Give your masterpiece plenty of time to dry

 

My other ideas for my fashionable earthing thongs will be to:-

  • Bind a pretty ribbon around the rubber v section and glue at the ends
  • Glue on a piece of glittery braid – that comes in a strip
  • Maybe able to sew on beads individually and secure with a knot – saw this done to other commercial thongs.
